RESOLUTION
Awarding Contract for Project No. J8625 Heart of the City – East Peace Plaza Paver
Modifications
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the following improvement(s):
Project No. J8625 Heart of the City – East Peace Plaza Paver Modifications the following
bids were received complying with the advertisement:
CD Tile and Stone, Inc. $160,056.00
WHEREAS it appears that CD Tile and Stone, Inc is the lowest responsive and
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester,
Minnesota, that the bid of $160,056.00 is hereby accepted and execution of the standard
City contract for construction with CD Tile and Stone, Inc is authorized for the following
approved local improvements: Project No. J8625 Heart of the City – East Peace Plaza
Paver Modifications and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to return to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except the deposits of the successful bidder which shall be
retained until the contract has been executed; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bidder shall execute all contracts within ten days
after the contract is ready for their signature, and if not executed by them in said time,
they shall be deemed to have abandoned the same.
