RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the Comprehensive
Traffic and Parking Resolution, previously adopted and amended by the Common Council,
be amended in the following respects:
1. Add Section A, “Angle Parking,” Paragraph 9.1:
1st Ave SW, east side, from 6th St SW south to the end of the street.
2. Add Section A, “Angle Parking,” Paragraph 9.2:
1st Ave SW, west side, from 6th St SW to the south approximately 240 ft.
3. Delete Section I, “Metered Parking,” Zone G, “3-Hour Meters,” Paragraph 31:
14th Ave SW, from Peace Garden Dr SW to 60 ft south.
4. Amend Section B, “No Parking Zones,” Paragraph 209.1:
14th Ave SW, west side, from Peace Garden Dr SW to 80 ft north of Peace Garden
Dr SW to 60 ft south of Peace Garden Dr SW.
5. Delete Section B, “No Parking Zones,” Paragraph 91.5:
3rd Ave SW, on the west side, from West Center St to 1st St SW; at all times.
6. Amend Section B, “No Parking Zones,” Paragraph 91.6:
3rd Ave SW, on the east side, from 120 ft north of 7th St SW to 2nd St SW; and from
120 ft north of 1st St SW to West Center St.
7. Delete Section B, “No Parking Zones,” Paragraph 109.1:
4th Ave SW, on the East side, from West Center St to 140 ft south; at all times.
8. Delete Section B, “No Parking Zones,” Paragraph 110:
4th Ave SW, east side, from 100 ft north of 2nd St SW to 1st St SW, at all times.
9. Amend Section B, “No Parking Zones,” Paragraph 110.6:
4th Ave SW, west side, from 120 ft south of 5th St SW to 60 ft north of 1st St SW, at
all times. 2nd St SW.
10. Delete Section C, “Special Parking Zones,” Zone E, “Courtesy Vans,” Paragraph 3:
3rd Ave SW, east side, from 1st St SW to 120 ft. north, shuttle buses and courtesy
vans only.
11. Delete Section D, “Truck Loading Zones,” Paragraph 19:
3rd Ave SW, on the east side of the St, from 2nd St. SW, south a distance of 40 feet,
more or less, a staging area for the Mayo and Gonda buildings, from 6:00 AM to 4:00
PM, Monday through Friday.
12. Delete Section E, “Passenger Loading Zones,” Paragraph 61.5:
3rd Ave SW, on the west side from a point 20 feet, more or less, south of 2nd St to a
point 38 feet, more or less, south of 2nd St, at the Harwick Building, 1 stall.
13. Delete Section E, “Passenger Loading Zones,” Paragraph 76:
4th Ave SW, west side, between West Center St and 1st St SW, 15 minute limit.
14. Amend Section G, “One-Way Streets and Alleys,” Paragraph 5:
3rd Ave NW and SW from 6th St SW to 2nd St SW, and West Center St to Civic
Center Drive NW, one-way for northbound traffic.
15. Amend Section G, “One-Way Streets and Alleys,” Paragraph 6:
4th Ave NW and SW from Civic Center Drive NW to West Center St, and 2nd St SW
to 6th St SW, one-way for southbound traffic.
16. Delete Section H, “Non-Metered Time Limited,” Zone C, “30-Minute Parking,”
Paragraph 24:
4th Ave SW, on the west side, 2 stalls north of 2nd St SW.
17. Delete Section H, “Non-Metered Time Limited,” Zone C, “30-Minute Parking,”
Paragraph 25:
4th Ave SW, on both sides, from 2nd St to 3rd St.
18. Delete Section I, “Metered Parking,” Zone G, “3-Hour Meters,” Paragraph 11.1:
3rd Ave SW, west side, from 1st St SW to 2nd St SW.
19. Delete Section I, “Metered Parking,” Zone G, “3-Hour Meters,” Paragraph 11.3:
4th Ave SW, east side, from 1st St SW to 2nd St SW.
20. Delete Section I, “Metered Parking,” Zone G, “3-Hour Meters,” Paragraph 11.6:
4th Ave SW, east side, from 140 ft. south of West Center St to 1st St SW, spaces 59-
50 to 59-54.
21. Delete Section L, “Residential Permit Parking,” Zone 7, “Cummings Addition,”
Paragraph 1:
2nd St NW, on the north side, from 5th Ave to 6th Ave NW, 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday
through Friday.
22. Delete Section L, “Residential Permit Parking,” Zone 7, “Cummings Addition,”
Paragraph 7:
6th Ave NW, on the east side, from 2nd St NW to 3rd St NW, from 8:00 AM and 4:00
PM, Monday through Friday.
23. Delete Section L, “Residential Permit Parking,” Zone 7, “Cummings Addition,”
Paragraph 8:
5th Ave NW, west side, from 2nd St NW to 3rd St NW, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday
through Friday.
24. Amend Section B, “No Parking Zones,” Paragraph 10.2:
East Center St, north side, from Broadway Ave N to Mayo Park Dr SE 12th Ave SE.
25. Delete Section B, “No Parking Zones,” Paragraph 12:
East Center St on the north side, from a point 75 feet west of 7th Ave to a point 100
feet east of 7th Ave.
26. Delete Section B, “No Parking Zones,” Paragraph 12.5:
East Center St on the north side from 10th Ave to 12th Ave, at all times.
27. Delete Section B, “No Parking Zones,” Paragraph 13:
East Center St on the north side from the east edge of the driveway into Mayo Park
to a point 80 feet east thereof; at all times.
28. Add Section B, “No Parking Zones,” Paragraph 435:

36. Amend Section E, “Passenger Loading Zones,” Paragraph 97.5:
15th Ave SW, from 6th St SW to a point 180 feet, more or less, south of 6th St SW,
on the west side, 15 minute limit, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 2:00 p.m., school days only.
37. Amend Section E, “Passenger Loading Zones,” Paragraph 88:
7th St SW, north side, from 12th Ave SW to 15th Ave SW, 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Mon-Fri, Tow-Away Zone.
38. Amend Section B, “No Parking Zones,” Paragraph 159.51:
7th St SW, north side, from 12th Ave SW to 15th Ave SW, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
