Home My WebLink AboutResolution No. 200-25 - Resolution - Neighborhood Traffic Management Program - Lincolnshire - Project No. J8208 RESOLUTION Awarding Contract for Project No. J8208 Neighborhood Traffic Management Program - Lincolnshire WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the following improvement(s): Project No. J8208 Neighborhood Traffic Management Program - Lincolnshire, the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Bids Total Rochester Sand & Gravel, a division of Mathy Construction $168,582.22 Doyle Conner Co $176,572.85 ICON, LLC. $183,399.00 Winona Mechanical, Inc. $184,028.00 Ti-Zack Concrete, LLC $198,648.61 Pember Companies, Inc $228,671.80 WHEREAS it appears that Rochester Sand & Gravel, A Division of Mathy Construction is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, that the bid of $168,582.22 is hereby accepted and execution of the standard City contract for construction with Rochester Sand & Gravel, A Division of Mathy Construction, is authorized for the following approved local improvements: Project No. J8208 Neighborhood Traffic Management Program - Lincolnshire; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to return to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder, which shall be retained until the contract has been executed; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bidder shall execute all contracts within ten days after the contract is ready for their signature, and if not executed by them in said time, they shall be deemed to have abandoned the same.
