Home My WebLink AboutResolution No. 201-25 - Resolution - Regional Stormwater Management Facility Pond 308 Kuehl Regional Pond - Project No. J6677 RESOLUTION Awarding Contract for Project No. J6677, Regional Stormwater Management Facility, Pond 308 (Kuehl Regional Pond) WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the following improvement(s): Project No. J6677, Regional Stormwater Management Facility, Pond 308 (Kuehl Regional Pond), the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractor Total ICON, LLC $379,520.50 Fitzgerald Excavating & Trucking $436,440.43 Mathiowetz Construction Company $491,639.30 Ploetz Excavating LLC $503,645.50 Nadeau Companies $520,626.35 Alcon Excavating Inc $564,167.55 A-1 Excavating LLC $626,626.00 Elcor Construction Inc $1,095,472.00 Engineer’s Estimate $524,639.50 WHEREAS it appears that ICON, LLC is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, that the bid of $379,520.50 is hereby accepted and execution of the standard City contract for construction with ICON, LLC, is authorized for the following approved local improvements: Project No. J6677, Regional Stormwater Management Facility, Pond 308 (Kuehl Regional Pond); and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to return to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder, which shall be retained until the contract has been executed; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bidder shall execute all contracts within ten days after the contract is ready for their signature, and if not executed by them in said time, they shall be deemed to have abandoned the same.
