RESOLUTION
Awarding a contract to Hawkins, Inc. in the amount of $374,513.40 for a one-year supply
of Anhydrous Ferric Chloride received on November 5, 2025.
WHEREAS, at the October 6, 2025, Regular City Council meeting, the City of Rochester Common
Council authorized the City Clerk to advertise bids for a one year supply of Anhydrous Ferric Chloride
until 11:00 a.m. on November 5, 2025.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the advertisement for bids, the following bids were received and determined
to be compliant with the bid process:
Bid
1. Hawkins, Inc. $374,513.40
2. PVS Technologies $409,980.00
2. Pencco No Bid
WHEREAS, Hawkins is the lowest responsible bidder for Anhydrous Ferric Chloride.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the
bid of $374,513.40 is hereby accepted and executed using the standard City Contract between the
City of Rochester and Hawkins, effective January 1, 2026, for the 2026 calendar year chemical
supply of Anhydrous Ferric Chloride.
Passed and adopted by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, on this 17th day
of November, 2025.
