RESOLUTION
Awarding Contract: Knutson Construction Services for North Broadway Park &
Ride - Project No. J2114.
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the North Broadway Park & Ride,
the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
Knutson Construction Services: $9,098,900
Fowler & Hammer, Inc.: $9,950,000
Brennan Construction: $10,459,000
Benike Construction: $10,560,000
WHEREAS, it appears that Knutson Construction Services Rochester, Inc. is the lowest
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester
to award a contract to Knutson Construction Services of Rochester, Inc. for the
construction of the North Broadway Park & Ride in the amount of $9,098,900.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to return to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder, which shall be retained until the contract has been executed.
