RESOLUTION
Ordering Feasibility Report.
WHEREAS, the 2022-2027 Sewer and Water Capital Improvement Plan made
recommendations for the 2 ST SE and 16 Ave SE Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Project
– Project No. J7838; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council desires to assess the benefited property for all or a
portion of the cost improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council desires to proceed with preparation of a Feasibility
Report for the 2 ST SE and 16 Ave SE Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Project – Project No.
J7838
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of Rochester
that:
That the City Engineer is hereby instructed to prepare a Feasibility Report with all
convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed
improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made
as proposed or in connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the
improvement as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate
individual assessments for affected parcels.
