RESOLUTION
Awarding Contract: DMC Plumbing and Heating for Replacement of Mechanical
Systems at Fire Station 3.
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Replacement of Mechanical
Systems at Fire Station 3, the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:
DMC Plumbing and Heating: $590,000
Metropolitan Mechanical Contractors: $634,875
WHEREAS, it appears that DMC Plumbing and Heating is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester
to award a contract to DMC Plumbing and Heating. for the replacement of mechanical
systems at Fire Station 3.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to return to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder, which shall be retained until the contract has been executed.
