RESOLUTION
Approving an Annual Gambling Permit for Dodge County Youth Hockey
Association at Smoak BBQ Located at 2291 Commerce Dr NW
WHEREAS, annual gambling licenses issued by the state require municipal permit
approval by Resolution in accordance with Minn. State Statutes 349.213 and 349.16;
and
WHEREAS, Dodge County Youth Hockey Association is a qualifying charitable
organization applying for its initial license to conduct charitable gambling activities within
the City of Rochester; and
WHEREAS, Dodge County Youth Hockey Association has met all the required criteria in
accordance with the Rochester Code of Ordinances Chapter 8-10. – Gambling and the
corresponding state laws.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of
Rochester, Minnesota, that the Council authorizes annual premises gambling permit for
the Dodge County Youth Hockey Association at Smoak BBQ, located at 2291
Commerce Dr NW.
