RESOLUTION
Authorizing the Execution of the Cooperative Construction Agreement with the
Minnesota Department of Transportation for the City’s Cost-Participation on a
Project Located at the Intersection of Broadway Avenue South and Trunk Highway
14.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized by the Home Rule Charter of the
City of Rochester, Section 4.01. – (Execution of documents) to execute all agreements
related to this project on behalf of the City of Rochester.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that The City of Rochester enter into Minnesota
Department of Transportation (MnDOT) Agreement No. 1062923 with the State of
Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes:
To provide for payment by the City to the State of the City’s share of the costs of the water
main, irrigation system, Signal System “B”, Signal System “D”, storm sewer, sidewalk, and
roadway construction and other associated construction to be performed upon, along, and
adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 14 at Broadway Avenue within the corporate City limits under
State Project No. 5502-109 (14=007).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Common Council authorizes the execution of the
Cooperative Construction Agreement with MnDOT, a copy of which was before the Council
and which is made a part of this Resolution hereof by reference.
