RESOLUTION
Authorizing the Execution of the Detour Agreement with the Minnesota Department
of Transportation for the Project Located at the Intersection of Broadway Avenue
South and Trunk Highway 14.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized by the Home Rule Charter of the
City of Rochester, Section 4.01. – (Execution of documents) to execute all agreements
related to this project on behalf of the City of Rochester.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that The City of Rochester enter into Minnesota
Department of Transportation (MnDOT) Agreement No. 1063279 with the State of
Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes:

To provide for payment by the State to the City for the use and maintenance of 16 Street

Southwest, Broadway Avenue, and 20 Street Southeast as a detour route during the
construction to be performed upon, along, and adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 14 from

Crossroads Drive Southwest to 3 Avenue SE under State Project No. 5502-109 (14=007).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Common Council authorizes the execution of the
Cooperative Construction Agreement with MnDOT, a copy of which was before the Council
and which is made a part of this Resolution hereof by reference.
