A petition signed by,Robert Dashow to have Lots 2 and 3, Block_10, Sunnyside Addition to the City of Rochester (Junction Highways 14 & 52 and 63)(Broadway and 1st Avenue S.E.) changed from a residential to,a commercial zone was presented and read. Upon motion by Wilkus, second by Morris, the petition was referred to the Planning and•Zoning Commission. All voted in favor thereof. An Ordinance Annexing to the City of Rochester, Minnesota the following described land was given its second reading: The East One-half (E.�) of Lot one (1)1, Block Three (3), Golden Hill Addition. Block Five (5), Golden Hill Addition, (including that portion of B16ck­Five.(5) which has been replatted and designated as "Sattre's Replat_of the S. k, Lots 2 and Lots 3, 7, 8, 9, Block-5, Golden Hill Addition.") Blocks 6, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23 and 24 Golden Hill Addition. Blocks One (1) and Two (2), Garden Acres. A motion was made by Wilkus, second by Wilson, that the rules be suspended and the ordinance be given its third and final reading. Upon roll call, President Tingley voted "no". An Ordinance Amending an Ordinance Entitled, "An Ordinance for the Purpose of Promoting Health, Safety, Order, Convenience and General Welfare by Regulating the Use of Land, the Locat- ion, Size, Use and Height of Buildings on Lots, and the Density of Population Within.the City of Rochester, Minnesota, All in Accordance with a Comprehensive Plan" was given its second reading. A motion was made by Wilkus, that the rules be suspended and the ordinance be given its third and final reading. President Tingley declared the motion lost for want of a second. (Lots 8, 9 and 12, Block 48 Morse & Sargentss' Addition and also part of Lot 12, Block 48 Morse & Sargent's Addition to a Commercial District).
