Minutes of an -adjourned regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Rochester,
Minnesota, held in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, in said City, on May 25, 1970.

President Postier called the meeting to order at 7:30 o'clock P. M., with the following
members beingresent: President Postier, Aldermen Cherland, Larson Ludowese, McNary,

Willmarth. Absent: Alderman Strain.
This meeting was for the purpose of holding a hearing to discuss the route
and location, design features, and social, economic and environmental effects of'the
construction of a pair of north -south one-way avenues in the vicinity of Broadway Avenue
and the Central Business District of Rochester, Minnesota.

Attached is a copy of the transcription of the hearing.
Upon motion by Cherland, second by Larson, and all voting in favor, the
meeting was adjourned.
