Judge Gerard Ring also was heard, ,and explained.what the word "bail". meant., letter was received from the Roch ' ester Motel Association whi ' ch passed a* resolution 'at* their Feb. 28, 1974 meeting . urging the City Council to eliminate motels and hotels from using courtesy cars and shuttle busses as long as pub.lic transportation is available. Having no one present that.wished to be' heard, Larson moved, Ludowese seconded instructing the City Attorney to prepare a resolution vacating the street with the retention of Utility easements only on the South 10 feet and the east 20 feet. Larson moved, Ludowese seconded to instruct the City Attorney to prepare a resolution improving the parking situation at the Mayo Civic Auditorium subject to the recommendations of the Traffic Engineer. Wishing to be heard was Mrs. Ann Hambright , President of the state 1-l"icaI unit and stated that she would NAACP and Vice President of the? 0 like to see -the city meet with the Human Rights Commission and the Elks officials and that the NAACP should be included Jn this meeting. This is in regard to the City issuing the Elks On -Sale Club liquor license. President Postier stated that note should be made of this request.
