Members present: President Postier, Aldermen Allen, Gray, Larson, Powers, Solinger and Strain. Absent: None. The call of...the special meeting was read by President Postier, the same being called for the purpose of Awarding bids for Drainage Chann el at 9th Avenue N. W., crossing in Elton Hills North First Sub.; Sanitary Sewer to Serve North Warehouse and Storm Sewer in First Avenue N. W. and for Sewer and Water Extension to Willow Creek Associates property, and any other business the Council may deem proper. Larson moved, Powers second to adopt Resolution No. 178-77 approving the awarding of the low bid of Rochester Sand and Gravel of $120,255. for Project No. 7602-0-76 J 2109 Drainage Channel Improvements and Culvert structures across 9th Avenue N. W. plus Grading and Surfacing of 9th Avenue N. W. across the Parkway area in Elton Hills North 1st Sub. Ayes (7), Nays (0). Motion carried. Strain moved, Gray second to adopt Resolution No. 179-77 approving the awarding the low bid of Littrup Nielson Rochester, Minnesota of $13,788.50 for Project 6460-77 J 2106 and Project No. 6301-1-76 J 2107 Sanitary Sewer Extension to serve the Public Service Department North Yard Vehicle Storage and Maintenance Facility and Storm Sewer Ext. in 1st Ave. N. E. from 6th Street to 7th St. N. E. Ayes (7), Nays (0). Motion carried. Powers moved, Strain second to adopt Resolution No. 180-77 approving the awarding the low bid of Fraser Construction Company of Rochester Minnesota of $114,560.00 for Project no. 7606-0-76 J 8563 Extension o a Sanitary Sewer and Watermain to serve a portion of that part of the NE 1/4 Sec. 13, Rochester Township lying east of C.S.A.H. # 1 and south of Pinewood Road S. E. Ayes (7), Nays (0). Motion carried. Powers moved, Gray")second to approve the Mayor's appointment to the Police Civil Service Commission of Robert Carlson to a one year term ending 1978, and Phil Kern to a term expiring in 1980. Ayes (7), Nays (0). Motion carried. Having no further business, Gray moved, Strain second to adjourn the meeting. Ayes (7), Nays (0). Motion carried. City Clerk
