The call of the special meeting was read by President Selby the meeting being called for adopting an ordinance relating to sewers, control of sewers.and sewer charges and any other business the Common Council may deem proper. Present: President Selby,.Aldermen Bluhm, Canfield, Hunziker, McConnell, Solinger and Strain. Absent: None. Bluhm moved, Hunziker second to approve the reduction of an assess- ment for tree removal for Arden Sollien for Lot 18, Blk 2 Valhalla 3rd from $350.00 to $175.00. This was negotiated by the Park Dept. Ayes (7), Nays (0).Motion carried. An Ordinance Relating to the Sewers, Control of Sewers, and Sewer Charges; amending the Rochester Code of Ordinances, Sections 76.01, 76A.01, 77.01, 77.02, and 77.03 was given its second reading. Hunziker,moved, Canfield second to adopt the Ordinance as -,,read. Ayes (6), Nays (1). Alderman Solinger voting nay. Motion carried. Bluhm moved, Hunziker second to adopt Resolution No. 638-88 referrinc Project No. 8801 J 9024 - Sanitary Sewer and Watermain to serve Bamber Valley School and areas in Section 9-10-14,15 and 16 in Rochester Township to the Public.Services Dept. for a feasibility report. Ayes (7), Nays (0).Motion carried. Council discussed the contract with the Rochester Convention and Visitors Bureau. Solinger moved, McConnell second to approve the concept of the Convention and Visit6r.s Bureau as amended by the Committee of the Whole on 10-24-88. Ayes (7), Nays (0).Motion carried.
