President Lemmon called the meeting to order at 7:30 o'clock P.M., the following members being present: President Lemmon, Alderman Fryer, Kennedy, Kjerner, Mrachefc, Nass, and Yaeger. Absent: Alone. Upon motion by Nass, second by Fryer, the minutes of the meeting of Iovember 8, 1943 were approved. A certificate in duplicate or the County Board•of the classification of lands recently forfeited to the State for non-payment of taxes, the forfeited lands having been classified as noA-conservation property, was read and upon motion by Fryer, second by'Kennedy, the 'classifications as made by the Board of County Commissioners was approved.. was read: The following. copy of a resolution adopted by the Sinking Fund Commissic "That the sum of $20,000.00 be and the'saidsum is hereby appropriated from the Sinking Fund and ordered paid to the First National Bank of Rochester, Minn., for the 'December 1st, 1943, maturity of the following bonds of the City of Rochester: City* of. The recommendation of the Street and Alley Committee and the City Engineer that a parcel of .land North of Seventh Street Northwest Bridge and Fast of Seventh Avenue Northwest be purchased, eras read and upon motion by Yaeger, second by Nass, the recommendation was approved. The report- of the Clerh of the Municipal Court' fo'r the 'week ending November 13, 1943, showing criminal fires and costs collected $87.80, civil fees received $5.70, and conciliation court fees $1.00, was read, and having previously been approved by the City Attorney, President Lemmon ordered that same be placed on file. The City Engineer's request that $5,000.00 be appropriated from the Street and Alley Fund and $2,000.00 from the Sewer Fund for use of -the Street and Alley Committee was read and President Lemmon ordered that same be' -placed on file. The Mayor's emergency order for the purchase of a sno-, loading machine was read and upon motion by Fryer, second by Kjerner, the order was approved. Alderman Mrachek introduced a resolution appropriating $14,326.00 from General Fund and ordering payment made to the General Fund , which was -read. Alderman Mrachek introduced a resolution appropriating.$1,275.00 from the Interest Fund and ordering payment made to the First National Bank for Dec. lst maturity of interest on City of Rochester Bonds, which was read. Upon motion by Fryer, second by Kennedy, that the said resolution be adopted as read, and all voting in favor thereof, President Lemmon declared the aid resolution duly passed and adopted. Alderman Kjerner introduced a resolution appropriating $212.50 from the treet and Alley Fund and ordering payment made to Alvin E. Benike for removing nd replacing curb on West side of Kahler Hotel, which was read. Upon motion by Kennedy, second by Kjerner, that the said resolution be dopted as read, and all voting in favor therev.f, President Lemmon declared the aid resolution duly passed and adopted. Alderman Fryer introduced a resolution appropriating $400.00 from the eneral Fund and' ordering payment made to David Bemel for the purchase of a pe:rcel f land North of 7 Street Northwest Bridge and East of 7 Avenue Northwest, which ,gas read.
