Mayor Grassle stated that he had received a communication from the

Ferry Command at Rochester, and that they had asked if the City would consider
releasing Mr. William Dugan to take charge of the fire department which is to
be maintained at the Rochester Airport. Upon motion by Mrachek; second by
Kennedy, Mr. William Dugan was granted a leave of absence from his duties in
the Rochester Fire Department for the duration to act as chief of the -Fire
Department to be maintained -at the Rochester Airport.

Chief of Police, $. N. Tompkins, stated that he -wished to purchase
additional bicycle number plates, the same to be made of metal: Upon motion
by Fryer, second by Kjerner, the Chief of Police was instructed to purchase the
said bicycle number plates.
Upon motion by Mrachek, second by Nass, the meeting was adjourned.
