Minutes of a special meeting of the Common Council of the City of
Rochester, Minnesota, held in the Council Chambers, in the City Hall in said City,
on January 3, 1947.
President Lemmon called the meeting to order at 7:30 o'clock P. 11., the
following members being present: President Lemmon, Aldermen Fryer, Kennedy,
Kjerner, McQuillan, Narveson, and Yaeger. Absent: None.
The call of the special meeting was read and President Lemmon ordered t'
the same be placed on file, the said meeting being called for the purpose of
considering applications for "Off and On Sale" intoxicating liquor licenses and
any other business the said Common Council may deem necessary.
The applications of Edward C. Livingston and Norman Wyatt and Donald
W. McConne,ll for "Off Sale" intoxicating liquor licenses were each re'a.d and upon
motion by Yaeger, second by Fryer, the licenses were granted and the surety bonds
submittedwith- same `were approved. ,...

and upon motion by Narveson, second by "cQuillan, the same was granted.
Upon -motion by Narveson, second by Kennedy, the City Clerk was a.uthoriz,
to return the fees to applicants to whom no licenses were granted.
