Rochester, Minnesota, held in.the Council Chambers in the City Hall, in said City!,

on March 30, 1949.
President Lemmon called the meeting to order at 5:00 o'clock P.M., the
following members being present: President Lemmon, Aldermen Kennedy, Akenhead,
Kjerner, Fox and.Yaeger. Absent: Alderman Fryer.
The call of the special meeting was read and President Lemmon ordered i,
that.the same.be placed.on file, the said meeting being called for the purpose ofl
considering applications for "on sale" liquor licenses for the year beginning
April 1, 1949 and ending April 1, 1949 and any other business the said Common I'
Council may deem proper.

The following applications for "on sale" intoxicating liquor licenses
'were each read and upon motion by Yaeger, second by Akenhead, the licenses were
granted: B. P. 0. E. #1091 Elk's Club, Joe Daly, Micahel J. Donahue, Harry Drosos.,,
,Arthur Glasena.pp, Laurs A. Grassle, G. H. Glinke, Ambrose Huberty, Frances.A.
Meyers, Carl M. Mogen, William J. Moriarity, Ernest C. Schacht, Whitlock Sonnenberg
Post #1215 d/b/a/ All Veterans Club, Jerry Reichert, Harold Hoffman and Gus Anton;
Donald G. Witzke and.Harold A. Witzke, Morey Kitzman, queen City Post +496

American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Zumbro Aerie #2229.
The matter of supervision and maintenance of parking meters was discussed
and upon motion by Kennedy, second by Yaeger, the &Vervisioq maintenance and
;collections from the meters was placed under the Police Department.
Upon motion by Yaeger, second by Akenhead, the i4eetin g was adjourned..
