Minutes of a spe°cial meeting of the Common Council of the ' City of li
Rochester, Minnesota, held in the Council Chambers, i'n the City Hall in said City,;
on October 14, 1952.
President Bach called the meeting to order at 5:00 o'clock P. M.,-the �.
followingmembers-being g present: •President Bach, Aldermen Brumm, Davis, Morris,
Schroeder and Thiem. Absent: Alderman Anderson.

The call of.the special meeting` was.read`and President Bach ordered that
the same be placed on file, the said meeting having been called for the purpose of
reconsidering the approval of a plat of lands within the corporate limits of the
City of Rochester to be known as Leitzen's 2nd Sub -Division and any other business
the said Common Council may deem proper.
Alderman Thiem stated that he felt the matter of approving the revised
plat to be known as Leitzen's 2nd Sub=Division was a controversial one and he
felt the Council should have•time to study the matter before taking final action.
He then made a motion that the meeting be adjourned until 4:00 P: M. en the

following Wednesday afternoon. After further discussion no second to the motion
was received and President Bach declared the motion lost for want of a second.

After hearing those present viho were opposed and those who were in favorli

of the adoption of the revised plat, a motion was.made by Brumm,'seconfl by Davis.,

that the revised plat be approved with the deletion of the set back line, and uponl,

roll call Aldermen Brumm, Davis and Morris voted in favor of the motion and
Aldermen Schroeder and Thiem voted "no".
Upon motion by.Schroeder, second by Davis; the transaction .of any other
business at hand was authorized.
The application of the Queen City Motors for a.permit to use 9 loud
i
speaker system on an automobile for advertising purposes was read and upon motion
by Davis, second by Morris, the permit was granted.
Upon motion by Davis, second by Schroeder, the meeting was adjourned.
