Minutes of a special meeting of the Common Council of the City of
Rochester, Minnesota., held in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, in said iJ
City, on June 25, 1953.

President Bach called the meeting to order at 5:00 o'clock P. M., the
following members being present: President Bach, Aldermen Ackerman, Anderson,
Morris, Schroeder, Thiem and Whiting. Absent: None,. I.
The call of the special meeting was read and President Bach ordered the
same placed on file, the said meeting having been called for the purpose of
considering the App,lida-t�ion for the transfer of "On Sale" Intoxicating Liquor p
License No. �+ t 33 from Wesley M. Schoepf to Everett J. Meyers and any other business
the said Common Council may deem proper. l
The application for transfer of "On Sale° Intoxicating Liquor License
No. �
334 from Wesley M. Schoepf to Everett J. Meyers was read and- upon motion by
j;
I,
Schroeder, second by Ackerman, the transfer was granted. .
The surety bond of Everett J. Meyers in the amount of $3, 000.00 with I,
the Hartford Accident & Indemnity Company as surety was read and upon motion by
Morris, second by Whiting, the bond was approved, the surety thereon accepted and i
it was ordered that the same be placed on file.
Upon motion by Whiting, second by Ackerman,
the following business was
brought before the Council.
The application of the Yellow Cab Corporation for transfer of three 1
taxicab licenses from a 7 passenger Chrysler with license No. 218-006 to a 1953
i
Chrysler 7 passenger with license No. 936-010; a 7 passenger Chrysler with license;.
No. 218-007 to a 1953 Chrysler 7
y 7 passenger with license No. 936-009; and a 7 I'
passenger Chrysler with license No. 219-015 to, a 1953 Chrysler 7 passenger with
license No. 936-oog, was read and upon motion by Thiem, second by,Ackerman, the
transfers were granted.
The applications of E. H. Klopp, Greer. Parrot Cafe Annex, for cigarette
and soft drink licenses were each read and upon motion by Thiem, second by
Morris, the licenses were granted.
The applications of Everett J. Meyers for a cigarette ;and soft drink i
license were each read and upon motion by Morris, second by Anderson, the licensesi

were granted.
Upon motion by Whiting, second by Morris, the meeting was adjourned.
