I feel that this is not warranted, in view of the many years of faithful service rendered the City by the individual performing the services at the Plant. Second, - The salaries of the Carpenters, Property Men, Electricians, Moving Piciures Operators, Flymen and Assistants at the Mayo Civic Auditorium does not conform with the Union Scale as requested by the Park Board and therefore can only result in unnecessary controversy and trouble. Third, - There is considerable dissatisfaction with the salaries set up for the Collectors in the Garbage Collection Service and in my opinion is not consistant with salaries paid for truck drivers in other departments. Fourth, -The salary of the assistant in the Treasurer's Office is not fair compensation for the work and the dependability involved. Moreover, it should not be necessary to rescind a resolution which set this salary at $2,c)40.00 a year to pass another resolution setting the salary at the same figure.
