of the City of Rochester, Minn., Oc t obe r 13. 19 56
Minutes of a special meeting of the Common Council of the City of
Rochester, Minnesota, held in the Council Chamb-ers of 'the City Hall on October
13, 1956.
President Bach called the meeting 10 order at 10:30 oIclock A. M. the
following members being present: President Bach, Aldermen Anderson, Moocty,
Schroeder, Tingley and Whiting. Absent: Alderman Schwanke.
The call of the special meeting was read and_President Bach ordered
the same placed on file, the said meeting having been called for the purpose of
approving a purchase price for lands to be acquired for the new airport and any,
other business the Common Council may deem proper.
Alderman Moody introduced a resolution authorizing the purchase of land
Included in site approved for the new Public Airport. Upon motion by Schroeder,
second by Moody and upon roll call all present voting in favor thereof, President
Bach declared the said resolution duly passed and adopted. (Alderman Anderson
left at 11: 20 A. M.) .
Upon motion by Schroeder, second by Moody, the meeting was adjourned.
