President Bach called the meeting to order at 4:30 P. m., the following members being present: President Bach, Aldermen Anderson, Moody, Schroeder, Schwanke, Tingley and Whiting. Absent: None. Alderman Anderson introduced a resolution appropriating $3, 227.00 from the Permanent Improvement Revolving Fund and ordering payment made to Hayden Miller Company, Arthur C. Gillespie & Fannie B. Gillespie, $539.60; John. J. Kriei and Anna 0. Krier, $265.20; Carl W. Elford and Vivian J. Elford, $97.00; Roxie Luetta Weih, $1,175.20; Lyndon C. Geselle, Margaret Geselle, Davis Geselle and Emma Geselle (Emma Geselle as administratrix of the estate of William O..Geselle, deceased) $506.90; Otto W. Haling and Hazel M. Haling, $80.00; C. L. Gibbs, Elnora'I. Gibbs, Edgar E. Jensen, Gertrude C. Jensen and -Rome Federal Savings and Loan Association, $563.20 for trunk line sanitary sewer easement running through Sections 22 and 23, Township 107 North, Range 14 West, Olmsted County, Minnesota, which was read. A motion was made byMoody, second by Schroeder, that the. said resolution be adopted as read and all voting in favor thereof, President Bach declared the said resolution duly passed and adopted. Alderman Whiting introduced a resolution vacating a part of Second Avenue Northeast lying west of a line described as follows: Commencing at the sout:r line of 7th Street Northeast at a point four and nine -tenths (4.9) feet east of the northeast corner of Lot No. ten (10) in Block No. thirty-one (31) of Northern Addition and running thence in a straight line to the northeast corner of Lot No. fourteen (14), which was read. A motion was made by Schwanke, second by Whiting, that the said resolution be adopted as read and upon roll call and all voting fnfavor thereof, President Bach declared the said resolution duly passed and adopted: Alderman Tingley introduced a resolution'e.uthorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute the contract between the City of Rochester and the Kruse Company for the grading, base construction and bituminous surfacing of Granger Court in Block 9, Homestead Addition, which was read. A motion was made by Schwanke,.seeond by Tingley, that the said resolution be adopted as read and all voting in favor'; thereof,, President Bach declared the said resolution adopted as read. Upon motion by Schwanke, second by Whiting, the meeting was adjourned until 4:30 P. M, on November 12, 1956. City Clerk 0
