Roll Call: Present: Meeks, Adler, Bach, ITickr, itzman, Postier. Absent:
Wright; Alderman 1AIright being absent on account of the illness of himself'.

�i President Peeks announced that this was the time and place fixed for a
hearinf, on the grading to an established grade line and to a width of thirty (30)
feet,* of Second Street Northeast between the Last line of Second Avenue Northeast and
�! the Zjtarrbro River* and asked if there was any person present who wished to be heard
in any ria,tte.r concerning the said grading.
There was no person present who wished to be heard relative to the said
improvement .

Al(iN:ic,man Postier introduced a resolution detenilining to adhere to all
former L^esolutions passed and adopted in the proceedingsrelative to the gyrading of

Paul TT. Buske. called attention to the delay of the Firemen's Relief i
tlssociL�,tion in paying over to the widow of John A. Boylhart, the funeral expenses
,-rut pension to which she is entitled, and on motion by Adler second by Bach the matte

November 1925, showin-; receipts in the amount of $6079.07 and disbursements in the

The application of the Women's Relief Dorps No. 30, for permit to
hold., give and conduct 4- public dance in the 1y.O.U.T. Hall, on December 17th,
1925, and of the. Zumbro Chapter, Order of De 1folay, for permit to hold, give
and conduct a public dance in the Rfasonic Temple December 26th, 1925, were
each separately read.
The following communication was read, and on motion by Postier second
by Kitzman the same was ordered placed on file for later action by resolution
of this Common Council:

from the Street and Alley Pund and ordered paid to Otto Wil-ke as compensation for
injury to and including December 31st, 1.925, i

the Common -Councif authorize the Public Utility Board to furnish lights for the
skating rinks located at each of the grade school buildings., was read, and on motion (

The City Clerk called attention to the accounts which the City of
Rochester has against Fielding and Shepley, Inc., and C. '?. SEhruth, for paving
repairs on First Street Southwest and Second Street Southwest,r.espectivelyi the
account against the first -lamed concern being 717.04 and that against the last
named person being $400,606
On motion by Postier. second by Bach the City Clerk was instructed to
prepare a resolution providing for advertisement for sale of the old Third District
Third Ward voting booth.
On motion by Postier second by dicks the City Clerk was authorized and
directed to secure the necessary ballot boxes, booths, etc., for the newly created
Riz'th election District of the Third Watd.

of said City, to be used. for the purpose of establishing and building a Sewage
Disposal Plant and a trunk line sanitary sewer connecting therewith, Rrithin and for

Upon motion by Kitznian second by T3ach that the said resolution be
adopted as read, and. all voting in favor. thereof, President Weeks declared the
saidresolu.tion duly passed and adopted.
Alderman Nicks iritroduced the following resolution, which was read:
"i-PEREAS, compensation policy No. LC-4155'issued by the Independence
Indemnity Company covering the City of Rochester, Tflinnesota, has been cancelled
by the said. Company effective as of November. 30th, 1925, and
VIfTL:2EAS, effective Dec!imbar 1st, ' 1925, the Standard. Accident Company
issued compensation policy No. AZ-107737, covering the City of Rochester.., 1T_i.nne-
s o t a, and
j°.I EREAS, the advanced premium paid to the Indemnity Tnsurance Company
was -11900.00, and the advanced premium required by the Standard Accident Company
is 91200.00, T. F. Kennedy being Agent for both Companies.

that the earned premium due the said Independence Tndemnity Company, Novenbcr

Alderman Bach introduced the follovvring, resolution, which was read:
"Whereas, the Common Council of the City of Rochester did on the 23rd day

Alderman Postier introduced a resolution granting permit to the Women's
Relief Corps No. 30 to hold, give and conduct a public dance in the 11.l.jT.T. gall,
on December -.7th, 1925, and fixirig the fee at '1.00, which vas rcvd.
