Minutes of a special meeting of the Common Vouncil of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, held in the Council Chambers, in the City Hall, in said City, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., on November 26t4,192�. + Meeting called to order by President Liddle. Roll Call. Present: Liddle, Erickson, Hicks, Miller, Rommel, Schroeder. Absent: Lemmon. The Gall for the Special meeting was read; said meeting being called for the purpose of action on the application of Harris Brothers Plumbing Company, Tnc., for license to connect 'with sewers and drains, and any other business that the said Common Council -might deem propene ` The application of Harris Brothers Plumbing Company, Inc., through their attorney Richard Manahan, for license to connect with sewers and drains, for services to the ..apartment building now being erected on Fifth Street Southwest, was read, and upon motion by •Hicks, second by Rommel, license was granted, by all voting in favor thereof, except Alderman Schroeder, who voted "May". The license bond of Harris Brother's Plumbing 4bPAe3y ,Tnc. , covering their license to connect with sewers and drains, with the Aetna Casualty & Surety Company as surety theredn in the amount of$1,000.00, was read, and upon motion by Erickson, second by Rommel, the said surety was accepted, the said bond was approved and it was ordered that thu same be placed on file, all voting; in favor thereof except Alderman Schroeder, who voted "Nay". The application of Company "C", 205th Inf. M.N.G., for a dance permit at the Armory December 1st, 8th, llth, 15th and 22nd, 1928s 'vas read. Alderman Ricks introduced a' resolution granting public dance permit to Company "C", 205th Inf. M.N.G., for the Armory, December 1st, 8th, llth, 15th, and 22nd, 1928, and fixing the fee at the sum of $25.00, which was read. Upon motion by Erickson, second by Hicks, that the said resolution be adopted as read, and all voting in favor thereof, President Liddle declared the said »esolution duly passed and adopted.
