This being the time and place fixed for the opehing of proposals

for the purchasy.of City of Rochester 41 per cent Permanent Improvement

Revolving Fund Bonds, cf fered for sale on this date, the following
proposals were opened and read:',
Sinking Fund Commission of. the City of Jochester, Minnesota; par
and a premium of 8115,70 for $13,000.00 of the above mentioned bonds,

and 1932, and �2,000.00 on December 1st, in each of the years, ^1933 to

A, F. Wright: Par, and a premium of $29.64, for $2, 000.00 of the

above mentioned bonds maturing on December 1st, 1938.
Alderman Miller introduced the following resolution., which was
read:
"Be it resolved by the Common Council of the City of Rochester..
Minnesota:
That the bid and offer of Sinking::Fund;-Gomn.isslon�_for_$13000 00 of
City "of .Rochester,Minnesct a, .4" -Permanent -3Im6r.ovement :Revolving:Fund -
bonds, dated -December lst21929, which: were" at this meeting -offered for "
sale, being $13000,00 as principal, :on, the .said: -'bonds, and .$115.•70 -as
premium on the said bonds, is deemed to be a..fay.orable proposal for the
said bonds, and
Be it further resolved by the said Common Council: That ' the
said bonds are hereby awarded and sold to the saidSinking Fdnd Commission
and that the same be delivered to them upon .them paying into the City
Treasury of said City the amount. of the said bid .therefor, said bonds
hereby awarded and sold are described as being numbers 66 to,78 inclusive,
all dated December 1st, 19293, and having the June, lst,1930 and all
subsequent" interest coupons attached, the maturities on the said bonds
being $1, 000000 on December lst, in each of the "years:,' 1930, 19312 d
1932, and $2, 000,00 on December 1st,, in each of "-the-Years' 1933 to' 1937
inclusivev the said bondsbearing interest at the rate of 4�per annum,

Be it further resolved by the said Common Council: That the Mayor and
City Vlerk of said City are hereby authorized.to duly execute the said bonds and
the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to deliver the said bonds to the
-purchaser upon the full payment into the City Treasury of the above mentioned
purchase price, "
Upon motion by Flicks, sec cad= by Miller, that the said resolution be
adopted as read, and all voting in favor thereof, President Liddle declared the said
resolution duly passed and adopted.
Alderman Miller' -introduced the following resolution, which was read:
"Be it resolved by the Common .Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota:
That the bid and offer of A. F Wright for $2, 000.00 City of Rochester,
Minnesota, 4� % Permanent Improvement.' Revolving 'Fiind Bonds; 'dated December 1st,1929,
which were at this meeting offered 'for 'sale; 'be iiig '02, 000.00 as principal, on the
said bonds, and $29.60 as premium on the said bonds, is deemed to be a favorable
proposal for the said bonds, and

Be it further resolved by the said Common Council: That the said bonds
are hereby awarded and sold to the said A..F ,Wright, and that the same be delivered

Upon motion by Rommel, second by •Vihstadt, the sum of ``9.12 was appropriat
ed from the• Stregt- and Alley. Fund and it was ' ordered that the same be paid to the
General Fund for the 1929 sprinkling on Broadway Street South, along the City
Warehouse,
The following certificate by the County Auditor relative to tax
.refundments was read, and upon motion by Hicks, second by Schroeder, it was ordered_:
that the City Qlerk adjust his tax records accordingly:

to take up with. the State Board of Health the matter of their approval of the plans,
profil.es and specifications for a preliminary sedimentation tank for the local

sewage disposal plant
Upon motion by Schroeder, second by Erickson, Council adjourned.
