HomeMy WebLinkAbout01-04-1932 (2)1; Minutes of a special meeting of the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, held in the Council Chambers, in the City Hall in said City, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., on January 4th91933. Meeting called to order by President Liddle. Ro11.Call. Present: Liddle. Dallman, Hicks, Miller. Moody. Absent: Amundsen, Norton. The call for the special meeting was read; said meeting being called for the .purpose of hearing merits of Burns & McDonnell and the Armstrong plans for trunk line sewer discussed, and any other business the said Common Council might deem proper. The discussion occured with no definite action taken. The following communication was read, and President Liddle ordered that the same be placed on file: "Granger & Blethen Rochester,Minnesota December 31,1932. Mr. E. J. Pearlove, Comptroller, State Capitol, St. Paul, Minnesota. Dear Sir: - St. Mary's Hospital has handed us your request for verification of the claimed account of the City of Rochester against it #or maintenance of sewage disposal plant. St. Mary's Hospital is not indebted to the City of Rochester on this account for taason trhibh the Common Council understand and are too lengthy to be set forth in a letter. Very truly yours, GWG/b Granger & Blethen " Alderman Norton came in at this time and took his Chair.. Upon motion by Hicks, second by Norton, the Public Grounds Committee was authorized to make the necessary expenditure in installation of valves that will separate the Police garage heating system from the Council room circuit.
