x A; Minutes of an adjourned regular meeting of the Common Council of the City -of Rochester, Minnesota, held in -the Council Chambers, in the.City Hall, in said -City, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., on August 20th,1934-t ' Meeting called.to order -by President Liddle" Roll Call: Present: Liddle, Amundsen, Fryer, Green, Lemmon, Miller, Moody. Absent: None: .Upon motion by Amundsen, 'second by Moody, the minutes of the meetings held on July 30th,1934, and August 6th,19341' were each approved. President Liddle announced this as being the time and i11ace fixed for hearing on the placing' of bituminous treatment on Fifteenth Avenue Southwest, -from the south line of Second Street Southwest to the south line of Sixth Street Southwest, to the full width of the street between the gutter slab a ,, = exe ept that at the intersection of Pift h Street Sout }me st and Sixth Street Southwest, in _the ' t reatment; shall, extend t o tJae sidewalk lines, and aldng the north 231 ' Peet on the west side of the Avenue the treatment shall extend to 15 feet west of the center line of the avenue, and asked if there was any person'present who wished to be heard 11concerning this improvement: Oscar N Ronken was before the Common Council and stated that he represented the property owners on the above described Part of Fifteenth Avenue Southwest in their protest against the proposed bituminous treatment of this streetQ The City Clerk reported that no bids had been received for the placing of bituminous treatment on .Fifteenth Avenue Southwest as above described.
