to the Street and Alley Fund, as a purchase price bid for 016;000 00
City of Rochester 3% Certificates of Indebtedness, and
WHEREAS, upon the opening of the bids by thOCommon Council for
the purchase of thesd certificates of indebtedness, the bid of the
First National Bank of Rochester, Minneoota, in the amount. of
$159160i86, was accepted, and the Certificates of Indebtedness sold
to the said First National Bank;

Clarence Fisher was before the Common Council relative to, the
Vacation of Fifth Avenue Southwest and Eighth. Street Southwest and re-
quested an egression from the Common Council as to how this street would be
divided should the name be vacated; or whether or not he would receive with-
out -any condition, one-half thereof, since he is one of the two property.
owners abutting the part of Fifth Avenue proposed.to be. vacatedo. Mr.. Fisher
said that his efforts thus far with the! Park Board (the other property owners
