Alderman Green m9oved that the action of the Common Council in
i'. granting the Peoples Co -Operative Power Company authority to use certain
streets for transmission lines be rescinded. the motion was seconded by
Alderman Richman, and upon a ruling from the City Attorney, President
i
Liddle declared the said motion as out of order, in as much as a resolution
of the Common Council could not be rescinded by a motion.•
Upon motion by Lemmon second by Amundsen that the COmmon Council
i
and the Public Utility Board meet together for the purpose of thuroughly

investigating the above referred to matter and file a report thereof not I
later than April 4th,1938.
The report of the Clerk of t]Le Municipal Court for the week .

ending March 14th, showing criminal fines and costs collected $145.80,
civil fees received $5.30, and conciliation court fees received $3.251
for the week ending March 21st, showing criminal fines and costs collected
9126.20, civil fees received $5.70, and conciliation court fees received

$1.25; and for the week ending March 28th, showing criminal fines and costs
t
collected $234.20, civil fees received $9.35, and conciliation court
fees received $1.50, were each separately read, and having been previously

approved by the City Attorney, President Liddle ordered that the same be 1
Iplaced on file.

A petition asking that bituminous treatment be placed on Seventh
Avenue. Southwest, from Sixth Street Southwest to Eleventh Street Southwest
was read, and President Liddle ordered that the said petition be placed on
file and referred to the Street and Alley Committee and the City Engineer.
A communication from Peter S. Mackey, Secretary of the Rochester
Fire Department Relief Association asking the approval of the Common Council
for an additional loan of $ 500.00 to Richard McDermott on his home located
at 1035 Fourth Avenue Southeast, and President Liddle referred the same to
the Finance Committee.
A communication from the Rochester and Olmsted County Public
Safety Council regarding one-way traffic on certain alleys in the City
of Rochester was read, and President Liddle referred the same to the
Chief of Police.
