Minutes of a special meeting of the Common Council of the City of
Rochester, Minnesota, held in the Council Chambers, in the City Hall, in
.said City, on August 50, ,1937.
President Liddle called the meeting to order at 7:($0 o'clock

P.M., thQ .following members being present: Liddle, Amundsen, Fryer, Lemmon,
and Moody. Absent: Green, Richman.
i The call for the special meeting was read and President Liddle
ordered that the same be placed on file; said meeting having been called
for the purpose of considering petitions for street improvements.
Applications signed by Fred W. Oesterreich, Mike' Caffes, bnd
Ross Phill, for pin ball licenses were each'read, and on motion by Fryer
i! second by Lemmon licenses were granted, --
Alderman Lemmon introduced a resolution ordering a hearing for
7: 30 o'clock P.M., on August 16th,1937, on the construction of bituminous
treatment on Fourth Place Southwest between Second Street Southwest and
First Street* Southwest, which was read:
Upon motion by Lemmon second by Fryer, that the said resolution be
adopted as read, and all voting in 'favor thereof, President Liddle declared
the said resolution duly passed and adopted:
Alderman Fryer introduced a resolution ordering a hearing for
7: 30 o'clock P.M. on August 16th,1937, on the bituminous treatment of
Sixth Avenue Southwest from Center Street West to Second Street Southwest,

Upon motion by Fryer second by Amundsen, that the said resolution
be adopted as read, and all voting in favor thereof, President Liddle
declared the said resolution duly passed and adopted.
Alderman Moody introduced a resolution ordering hearing on the
bituminous treatment of Fourth Avenue Northwest and Southwest, from
Second Street Southwest to Dirst Street Northwest, for 7:30 o' clock P.M. ,

Upon motion by Moody second by Fryer that the said resolution be adopted

oclock P.M., on August 16th,1937, on the construction of new curb and gutter on
Fourth. Avenue Northwest and Southwest, from Second Street Southwest to First Street
Northwest, which was read. !
Upon motion by Amundsen second by Fryer, that the said resolution be

adopted as read, and all voting in favor thereof, President Liddle declared the said

Upon motion by Fryer second by Moody,the Common Council adjourned.
