HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 4290 - Second Reading: OrdinanceAmendment.AlcoholicBeveragesInBearCreekPark ORDINANCE NO. ___ AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ENACTING SUBDIVISION 7 TO SECTION 45B.17 OF THE ROCHESTER CODE OF ORDINANCES, RELATING TO THE POSSESSION AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN BEAR CREEK PARK. THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROCHESTER DO ORDAIN: Section 1. Subdivision 7 of Section 45B.17 of the Rochester Code of Ordinances is hereby created and enacted to read as follows: Subd. 7. Notwithstanding subdivision 1, it is unlawful for any person to bring upon, or to possess or consume in, Bear Creek Park a container of an alcoholic beverage. This subdivision shall not apply when the Board issues a permit allowing the sale, possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages in Bear Creek Park. Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective from and after the date of its publication.
